Platelet rich plasma is the portion of our blood that contains all the growth factors and nutrients that help us heal ourselves. The treatment process includes drawing the patients blood and separating the platelet rich plasma from the blood. After which the resulting plasma, which contains cytokines and other growth factors is combined with microneedling (also known as collagen-induction therapy) with topical application of the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) taken from your own blood.
This skin rejuvenation treatment creates an overall improvement to skin texture, skin brightness, and tone. It can also reduce scars (including acne scars), correct hyperpigmentation, tighten lax skin, smooth fine lines, and minimize the appearance of large pores.
